Privacy Policy

In accordance with art.13 of Italian Legislative Decree no. 196 dated 30.6.2003 (Privacy Code), the customer is hereby informed of the following information.

The customer’s personal data will be processed for (i) functional purposes to fulfil fiscal, accounting and legal requirements and for contract and customer management purposes (supply of product and accessories, assistance service, replacement, repair, customer management and administration, orders, shipments, invoices, solvency checks and disputed claims management) and for (ii) purposes connected to commercial activities (mail order sales, marketing and advertising, market surveys, promotional activities, customer satisfaction surveys, competitions, events, prize-winning contests and similar, statistical analyses).

The data will be processed also through the creation and management of a central archive, with paper, electronic and telematic media, to which specialized and authorized staff have access.

The provision of personal data that are essential for legal requirements and/or establishment and/or continuation of the contractual relationship is mandatory, in the sense that, if not provided, it will be impossible to establish and/or continue such relationship. The provision of other personal data is optional and in general useful for supplying a better service to the customer; refusal to provide such data will not have negative consequences on the customer.

The personal data that concern the customer may be communicated to parent, subsidiary and/or associated companies of Cartiera San Giorgio Srl for the same purposes as described above, and to external parties of services specialized in: (i) management of software, hardware, telematic and electronic systems; (ii) data processing and storage activities; (iii) activities of printing, sending, putting into envelopes, transport and sorting of communications to customers; (iv) financing, credit recovery and financial risk assessment services.

We would like to remind the customer that he/she can always exercise his/her rights according to article 7 of the Privacy Code.
